Four people were arrested and one woman was shot by police late on Thursday (27) in London, police said. The action took place on Harlesden Road in the northwest of the city just before 7:00 p.m. (13:00 p.m. in Brasília).
According to police, the woman shot was about 20 years old and was taken to a hospital. She was not told if she was at risk for life. She was in a house that was being investigated and where a 16 year old and a 20 year old woman were arrested.
A 20-year-old man was arrested near the same address and a 43-year-old woman was arrested shortly afterwards in Kent. They are being held at a police station in south London under investigation for terrorism.
Police say the case has no connection with the Whitehall jail earlier this Thursday of a man carrying knives near Parliament, and searches continue to be carried out at the house and at other addresses in London.
